Furio: 9-26-22 - Gen2 Issues and Resolution

Good Morning Friends.  At this point I have not resolved the issue with "why" Gen2 crashed and corrupted the save data.  However, at this point I do have it back up and running.  THERE IS A 12 HOUR LOSS IN IN-GAME ACTIVITY The save file that I was able to load was from around 7pm on Sat 9/24. 

A FEW CHANGES

1.  I modified the configuration files server-wide that de-buffs breading.  You will notice that it takes longer to mature/mate etc.

2.  I disabled soul terminal auto-generation.  At this point I have it off in order to troubleshoot issues.

3.  Please limit taming on GEN2.  Try and utilize other maps to help "equalize" the server load

4.  Be advised, I am not making guarantees on the performance of Gen2 at this point.  If you have anything important, please get it to a different map.  From this point moving forward, I am not responsible for lost creatures or  items.

5.  Use Gen2 as a resource map for tames and items.  Please do not rely on it solely, or keep your character on the map until I give the "all-clear".  Essentially, make another base on a different map until we get things figured out.  We have updated the shop with some items to aid in transfer.

6.  Over the next week, we are going to announce some changes coming to the cluster.  Don't worry too much.  Most of the changes coming involve configuration changes and some ways to enhance and make the cluster better. 

Being that the cluster is more active.  I feel we need to make these changes in order to "enhance" the quality of our experience on the servers.  We are trying our best with what we have to make the servers run as efficiently as possible with little down-time.  Honestly, I am surprised that we made it this far with the configuration that we have going.  But I think it is time for some new changes and rules.
